To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the "Macross" anime series, Bandai introduces a new plastic model series in HG, starting with the YF-19 variable fighter!

The YF-19 showcases an innovative "Shortcut Change" system, a result of a thorough re-evaluation of transformation, form, and movement. This new system involves part replacements, streamlining the transformation sequence for effortless transitions between Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes.

The "shortcut change" system is designed to sculpt the figure according to each form independently, eliminating the constraints of the transformation process. This simplification results in increased movable areas within the body, achieving unprecedented levels of poseability.

The canopy utilizes polarized molding, creating a captivating play of colors as it interacts with light.
