Issue Summary: "The End... and the Beginning." This Giant-Sized debut issue establishes the collapse of the Age of Science on Prysmos. The wizard Merklynn summons the bravest knights of the realm to Iron Mountain. There, they must survive a gauntlet of magical traps to prove their worth. Those who succeed are granted animal totems that reflect their true nature—transforming Leoric into a Lion, Darkstorm into a Mollusk, and setting the stage for the war between the Spectral Knights and the Darkling Lords.
