Straight from the Jurassic sewer comes one of the wildest combos from the TMNT toyline’s Stone Age spin-off—Cave-Turtle Don and his Trippy Tyrannosaurus! Released in 1993 during the tail-end of Playmates’ original TMNT line, this prehistoric pair gave fans a delightfully bizarre mashup of mutant ninja action and dino-sized imagination.

Cave-Turtle Don wears his Stone Age battle gear with pride, complete with his Battlin’ Bronto Bo, Mesozoic Mace, and signature purple dino-branding. But the real star here is the ferociously funky Trippy Tyrannosaurus, decked out in orange with black dino spots, a matching bandana, and saddle-ready for action.

Part of the rare Dino TMNT sub-series, this set is one of the last wacky expansions of the golden TMNT era before the original line was shelved. It stands out not only for its sheer color bomb of 90s aesthetics but also because of its short production run and unique dino theme.
