"You must learn to master your environment, or your environment will master you."

Nostalgia Madness! Descend into the sewers of New York City and bow to the master. Master Splinter, the mutated rat sensei and surrogate father to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is the guiding light of the franchise. After being mutated by the same mysterious ooze that transformed his sons, he taught them the ancient art of Ninjutsu so they could defend the innocent and battle his lifelong enemy, the Shredder. Without Splinter, there are no Turtles, making him an absolute necessity for any foundational TMNT collection.

This loose 1988 Playmates Toys release continues the incredible streak of pristine survivors from this collection. While he is an out-of-box figure, Splinter has made it through the decades in exceptional, almost unplayed-with condition. Featuring incredibly tight joints and remarkably minimal paint wear, he looks like he was just uncarded yesterday. Whether he is meditating in your sewer diorama or giving tactical advice to Leonardo on your display shelf, this sensei is ready to lead.

Features:

  • Vintage Authentic: An original 1988 Playmates Toys release, complete with the classic 1988 Mirage Studios maker's mark stamped clearly on the back of the figure.

  • Collector-Grade Condition: This loose figure is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring incredibly tight joints, very minimal paint wear, and an overall appearance that looks practically untouched.

  • Master's Gear: Comes fully equipped with his iconic original accessories, including his purple cloth kimono, orange walking stick, and orange bow and arrow.

  • Action-Ready: Fully posable with classic 80s articulation, ready to instruct his mutated sons and battle the Foot Clan on your retro display.
